Family Secret’s second release introduces several key visual and story updates designed to enhance the overall experience and lay the foundation for future developments.

Technical and Visual Improvements

While working on this update, we discovered issues with reflections under dynamic lighting, particularly concerning the skin shaders used for certain characters. To fix this, we replaced the skin assets for Jun, Mia, Kris, and Saraya. These characters may look slightly different from the initial release, but this update provides smoother lighting transitions, more natural reflections, and overall improved scene consistency.

Story Progression

On the story side, we continue to follow Feng as they struggle to navigate young adulthood, dealing with the emotional impact of the events witnessed in the first release. This chapter also takes a deeper focus on the daily lives of several side characters, offering new perspectives on their personalities and relationships.
